The streets of Rodez have kept their narrow and winding charm since the Middle Ages. The many fine houses along the streets, where shades of pink sandstone dominate, are a bookshelf off history: after the the Maison Canoniale, former residence of the canons of Rodez, you have the “Tour des Anglais” with all the "French turn" and the of its nickname... the House of Armagnac, which has never belonged to the famous family of the same name but is fascinating in itself. You'll see the court of the bishop's palace, where you can admire the bell tower of the cathedral and the old ramparts.
